Project #8: Corporal Jerry LaFreniere

Name:  Corporal Jerry LaFreniere

Project Details:
Marine Jerry LaFreniere served from 1963 to 1966 starting at Camp Lejeune in 1963. This project was completed to help LaFreniere live more comfortably in his own home. However, because LaFreniere’s 85 yr. old uncle, a 30 year Navy veteran lives with him, the project was a doubly-good investment for Building Dreams for Marines.

We were asked to make accessibility upgrades to first floor bathroom and add a handicap-accessible shower. The project required plumbing, electrical, sheet rocking, painting and flooring work, as well as new fixturing.
